Floating Worlds

Floating Worlds

I love rocks: the variety of textures, shapes and contours, colours and the situations in which they are found. These two boulders appear to be floating, as if suspended in the clouds, on Dove Lake, Cradle Mountain National Park. I saw them while walking around the lake shore, near the old boat shed and immediately imagined them isolated from the vista around them.
